I dont have Optio A40 and my question is why you need f/2.8 iso 800 and shutter speed/exposure 1/80. To me dont aspect to much from f/2.8 coz you wouldn't get the details. Let me guess the car in the last photo was bright red, and the defective buggy K10D changed the colour to black? Your buddies canikon gets the colour right?. I have an A40 as well, I never have an issue to the problem mentioned, in fact the colors are outstanding. As for the K10, this is the 1st time I see this kind of problem in the forum. While I don't have the K10, I do have the K100 and the K20 and both of them handle the green color very well. Have had a K10D for almost two years. Never had a problem. Just the opposite.
